Q 1: How can counseling help me?
When we are feeling so emotionally drained and overwhelmed by a life situation, it is difficult for us to see the “big picture” of how it fits into our life.  Counseling can help you step back from the situation, to see what’s really going on, so that you can get a better idea of how to handle it.
Q 2: Does counseling always work?
I wish it did. But I can't guarantee that. What I can say is that I will always do my best to help you figure out how to address your particular life situation.
Q 3: In addition to women’s individual counseling, do you also offer other types of counseling services?
Definitely. I provide counseling services to both women and men individually, as well as to couples, teens, families, and groups. I also do customized presentations on a wide range of self-improvement and relationship topics for various organizations, such as business networking groups, Moms Clubs, health and fitness organizations, etc. I would love to talk with you about your life situation, to see how I can help.
Q 4: How long are your sessions?
My sessions are 45 to 50 minutes long.
Q 5: How often do we meet?
We usually meet once a week. If you're going through a really tough time, sometimes, we will need to meet more often. As things get better, sometimes, we will meet less often.
Q 6: How long does counseling usually last?
If things are going relatively well, and you just need a little support to get through a rough time, then counseling may consist of only a few sessions. But if you're struggling with some tougher issues and you want to get to a much better place in your life, it might mean having more sessions. Together, we can figure out what time frame would work best for you, depending on your particular situation.
